Entry Requirements
-Directors: The SAAs honor up to three credited directors per film. If your film has more than three directors, submit the names of the three primarily responsible for the project’s creative direction. Any credit discrepancies must be resolved before consideration.

– Faculty Advisor: Provide your faculty advisor’s name and email for verification purposes. Do not substitute your email.
– Single Category Submission: Each film must be submitted to one category only. Incorrect category submissions will be reassigned.
– Additional Formats for Semifinalists: Semifinalists must provide the following:
– An HD or UHD digital video file (best source available)
– A DCP (Digital Cinema Package)
– English closed captioning (required for all semifinalists)
– English subtitles (required for non-English content)
– English audio description file (if available)
– Disqualification: Failure to meet all entry requirements will result in disqualification.

– Automatic Qualification: Films meeting the automatic qualification criteria can be submitted directly by the student.
– Qualification by Waiver or Festival: Films not meeting automatic criteria must qualify through school waivers or film festival participation.
